![]() Sonic Lost World is in a similar boat as Donkey Kong, a frankly underappreciated game but the game is pretty unforgiving at times and I feel is still a ways a way before it would be fun and not just punishing. Mario Kart in 2 months is another strong contender, looking forward to watching my son get fished out of hazards for a few months after that one hits myself.ĭonkey Kong Tropical Freeze has all the appearances of a great young kid game on the surface, it IS truly fantastic, but I suggest avoiding it until he can plow through New Luigi U blindfolded or it will just be frustration. All the usual charms of a proper Mario game, and based on the Miiverse for it, all young kids who play it fall in hopeless and irreversible love with the stamps you can collect and stamp onto Miiverse posts. Super Mario 3d World is a gem as well, difficulty is a touch below New Super Mario U but everything about the game is just a joy to play. Charm, a complete and utter lack of violence, straight forward controls, lot of collectables and fantastic music. Unmasked who havent used a touchscreen keyboard as you would in the WiiU. The game has a much easier entry point than Mario/Luigi U (I love those two games but in comparison to the NES marios, the difficulty is through the roof) and has everything going for it. If you disagreed, then Scribblenauts Unmasked probably wont be your cup of. Rayman Legends is an absolute must buy in my opinion. Might also do him some good to work on both ends of it, both creating the solution and trying to identify the solution already in the area off the description. One or the other wont be any better or worse at his spelling, the treasure hunt aspects of Unmasked might help keep him in it. You can do the scavenger hunts literally forever in the game, with a story line of normal "Solve my problem" type Scribblenauts jobs. It's buried there, beneath two thousand DC Universe character cameos, a few vampiric dinosaurs, and the. Which was one of the main issues people had, where previous iterations were fun problem solving, Unmasked added a lot of "Find X items that are purple" and so forth alongside the problem solving. There's an actual game to be found within Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. ![]() A large portion of Unmasked is randomly generated scavenger hunts. Unmasked is arguably the worse game over Unlimited but, ironically, it's flaws might make it more fun for a 5 year old. ![]()
